Parents or legal guardians must have the following items to enroll a new student (K-12):
- Final report card/transcript from previous school year
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Immunization record
- Parent/guardian's photo ID
- Proof of residency in Rains County (utility bill)
Rains ISD will request all other school records.
Students who do not live in Rains County, but wish to transfer to the district must first be approved by the School Board. For more information please contact Sandra Parker at the Central Administration office at 903.473.2222, extension 4112.
